Rachel is a passionate and dedicated soil microbiologist, committed to sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship. She joined Agpath in 2018 while completing her undergraduate degree and was immediately enthralled with the field of soil microbiology. Having completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Conservation) and Graduate Certificate of Regenerative Agriculture, Rachel is now pursuing her Master of Science (Agriculture).
Under Dr Cole’s mentorship, Rachel has developed extensive expertise in soil health assessment and management practices. She works closely on numerous research projects and is particularly focused on translating scientific findings into practical solutions for farmers. Rachel is dedicated to helping landholders across Australia improve their soil health and implement sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both productivity and environmental outcomes. Her combination of academic knowledge and hands-on experience allows her to bridge the gap between research and practical application in the field.
