9th International Wheat Conference (Sydney)

An extensive program of plenary sessions, oral presentations, poster sessions and a post-conference technical tour is planned. The program will ensure that you will be completely up-to-date with every aspect of wheat science.
The conference will also have a number of social events designed to take full advantage of the wonderful city of Sydney. They will be carefully organised so that you will be able to maintain contact and collaboration with your existing international colleagues whilst making new friends in the global wheat research community.

Australasian Grain Science Association 2015 65th Australian Cereal Chemistry Conference (Coogee)

High profile speakers have been invited to present keynote lectures, and contributed oral and poster presentations will be invited in these areas when registration opens in February 2015. Regular updates of the program will be posted on the conference website.
The Conference will start after lunch on Wednesday 16 September and will conclude mid-afternoon on Friday 18 September.
There will be a Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening 16 September and a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening 17 September.

Australasian Plant Pathology Conference

The Australasian Plant Pathology Society’s biennial conference will be held in the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle, Western Australia from the 14th to the 16th September 2015.
For the conference we are putting together an exciting program of talks by national and international speakers on a wide variety of topics of relevance to plant pathology. These will be augmented by local speakers and poster presentations. A series of workshops and field trips will be held before and after the conference.
A number of other plant pathology groups are holding meetings in Fremantle either before or after the APPS Conference. These include the International Union of Forest research Organisations (IUFRO), The Australasian Plant Virology group, and the Australian National Pulse Pathology Group.
Students and early career researchers can apply for bursaries to cover some of the costs of attending the conference.

Since 1991, Seymour Alternative Farming Expo has grown into the most successful alternative farming expo in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the best in the world.

Each year, over three days in February, more than 450 exhibitors present the world’s best agricultural technology for a general audience of 45,000 visitors including farming professionals and members of the general public.

Seymour Alternative Farming Expo is a massive outdoor supermarket for leading edge farm machinery, products and services from Australia and around the world and showcases Australia’s unique engineered and technical solutions to the challenges of farming on one of the world’s driest continents.

The technology at Seymour Alternative Farming Expo each year focuses on advances in alternative livestock, cropping enterprises, small to medium farm machinery, implements and building systems (home and farm). The Expo has a strong lifestyle focus including food growing and preparation, animals such as cattle, sheep, goats and backyard chooks. Regular event features include the Snake Show, Chainsaw Carving, Working Sheep Dogs, Country Cook Off and the Butchers Shop, Gourmet Food Marquee, The Owner Builder Lectures, Agricultural Society Lectures and the NMIT Ag Zone Lectures.

The Alternative Farming Expo is located on a superbly laid out site at Kings park in Tallarook St, Seymour.

The site is situated only 1hr from Melbourne in Victoria, and is easy accessible from the Hume highway.
